Field gear and military surplus.
I will always be a Ruck sack freak, ALICE has treated me well, sleeping gear, pack hammocks, military surplus I am all in. Fishtail parkas (m51,65,digital night pattern).
Post some pics of your go to Field gear or BOB. I did not realize UK sportsmen and women ran around naked while sporting? Terribly drafty way to enjoy oneself.

Here is the m-65 parka with a M51 liner. I had the pleasure of attending the French Cammando school in Treir Germany mostly trained by French soldiers who spoke other than French in tight situations. I gave my original issue M65 with liner to the Algerian medic and platoon who also attended.

The course itself was easy, I did not understand the language when they cursed and dogged me. I knew to run, pack, climb and shoot. I did like the cup of hot cream, coffee and hard bread for b-fast while in garrison. Got drunk with a few French troops and Algerian troops and could not speak a lick of native language. Ever been drunk relying on body language instead of verbal? What a blast. Back in 1980.
