Politicians always suck, and anyone who seeks safety in the womb of government has never learned from history. Every Nation or tribe has eventually turned on its own populace, no exceptions. For or against makes no difference, Always reinventing themselves with ideology for tomorrow's children.

One thing stands out, options. Options limited is control. When law and policy seek to limit the peasant with unquantifiable mind numbing regulations it is time to stand back, observe and plan accordingly.

I must say you people from the UK are a quite type? Speech laws? Stockholm syndrome? Government owns your opinion? Always a shadow?

While in Nijmegan Holland, I was attached as a Medic to incorporate British soldiers (Canadian also) as we marched 20 miles a day for a week to liberate and end WWII, goes on every August. What a difference in opinion on ground vs forum. Sure, beer tents greeted us at the end of each day, sure US and British troops locked arms to sing glory to the Queen and the bastard nation known as the US.
