Hi
Glad to be here.
Live in Colorado and retired from the Army. Just got back from shooting at Pikes Peak on public land with my son visiting me from Pittsburgh. Curious about joining a forum from the UK........to tell the truth was hesitant. Get a lot of anti gun flak here in the states from the UK and Australia on different forums but like all things in life you just push forward and educate the noise.
Enjoy shooting 22lr, 38spl, 410 bore, 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, 3006 for full recreational pleasure, some fishing and camping any chance we get since so much open space is around.
Lived in Germany for 7 years but never made it to the UK, one thing good about my travels was the discovery of great beer.
No Coors, Budweiser or Miller beer as of 1980, Gawd awful beer.
Once again, thanks for forum.

Sound like you had a good time. Were you shooting deer, bird or something else?
I would love a rifle maybe a 22lr to start. Rifles are made so hard to own in the UK. I have my name down at a shooting range which goes a long way when applying for a firearm license. A shot gun licence is somewhat easier to get a hold of.
I have been to Germany twice, Koblenz and Bohn. Yes Germany is the place for beer. They love their beer festivals too while wearing lederhosen
There is actually a German beer festival near me held in he UK every year.
