Getting a permit

Getting a permit is a long and convoluted business. Each phase of the procedure is intended to diminish the probability of a weapon falling into the wrong hands. Yeah, it stinks that it is so hard to even get a gun in the UK. I have heard of some people not having a good enough reason, then they don't get the permit. I think that it shouldn't be as hard as it is. For the most part, people who want a gun want one for a good reason. I just sometimes don't agree with that.

Always a polemic topic, since some people can't use weapons responsably, but must people do. Maybe govern just fear to have similar situations as in other countries.

That's true. That's why it's so frustrating. I mean it would be nice to not have to go through all we do. Obviously it won't matter because there are people like you said who can't use them right. It's those kinds of people who ruin it for the rest.

Punish all for the few who can't behave is bad form and government. Funny how government does not apply that same rule of thought for themselves. Just a Yankee thinking out loud.
